1. What is SHAROD UTSAV SAMMAN ?

Sharod Utsav Samman is prestigious Award Ceremony for Durgapuja Organizers & brainchild of EVENTEX, an event management company based in Bangalore with pan India operations.

Sharod Utsav Samman was born with one overarching thought—to encourage Durga puja committees to excel in the organisation of Pujas, by awarding the best performers. Sharod Utsav Samman is thus a celebration of excellence.

We divide pujas into various categories based on the budget and further award excellence in various subcategories, like Best Pratima, Best Venue, Best Puja Publicity etc. and even for eco-friendly practices.

Our jury comprises of eminent women and men from various walks of life.

We started on a modest scale in Bangalore in 2018, and in 2019 Sharod Utsav Samman became the premier award programme in Bangalore.

This year we intend to make Sharod Utsav Samman a global event and we offer you a chance to exhibit your excellence on the global stage.

Sharod Utsav Samman is now a global celebration of excellence.

4. Is there any charges for registration ?

   

    Yes (Non refundable)

A. Baroari Puja / Sarbojonin - (Indian Durgapuja)– Rs.1000/-

B. Barir Puja – (Indian Durgapuja) - Rs.500/-

C. International Durgapuja (Outside India) USD100

5. How many maximum sub-categories can be nominated by any Durgapuja ?

Maximum 3 Sub Categories can be nominated by any Durgapuja.

6. How to make the payment for Nomination ?

  1. Indian Durgapuja – Payment through – Bank online transfer / G-Pay / Paytm

  2. International Durgapuja Payment through PayPal only

(Payment details are mentioned in the respective online form)

7. When to make the payment for nomination / registration ?

Full payment should be done at the time of Form Submission & you need to send the confirmation payment details / screenshot through whatsapp +91-9742332211 or email to anup@eventex.in Last date for registration / Nomination / Payment 20th October 2020 11.59 PM (As per respective country's standard time)

9. Is there any cash reward for the winners ?

No

10. What are the documents to be submitted in support of nomination ?

A.  Live Video during Durgapuja through ZOOM Video call (Time Slot & Link will be communicated during Durgapuja)

B.  Recorded Video of Durgapuja (Max 2 Min for each nominated Sub Category – HD (720P) or Full HD (1080P) Format.

C.  Good Quality Photography – 5 Images for each nominated Sub Category

D.  One-page write up about your Durgapuja along with Core Committee members name.

(Organizers have full right to publish any of the above documents, Photo & Video in any format on Digital, Print & Social Media)

11. Any Jury members will visit Durgapuja Pandal to check ?

No. Due to COVID-19 pandemic there will be no physical visit to any Pandal. Entire judgement process will be done through online with the help of technology.

12. How the Award Ceremony will Happen ?

Award ceremony will happen on 21st November 2020 on a VIRTUAL PLATFORM which will be webcast through Website, Facebook, YouTube & Zoom. The Technical details will be shared well in advance to all the nominees. 

13. When the Winners Name will be Published ?

Winners details will be published by 23rd November 2020 on official Website & Facebook page.

14. How will I get the Trophy / Award ?

Winner’s Trophy & Certificate will be couriered to your official address after the Award Ceremony

15. Important Dates to remember : -

A. Last date for Registration / Nomination - 20th October 2020

B. Last date for submitting supportive documents (Photo, Video & Write up) - 27th October 2020

C. Live Durgapuja Darshan through ZOOM video call (22nd-26th October 2020) - Time slot & link will be provided during Durgapuja

D. Virtual Award Ceremony : 21st November 2020

Jury Members decision will be the final and shall be accepted by all nominees. Organizers reserves all the rights for Sharod Utsav Samman Award Ceremony & it’s content.
