🏆 Sharod Utsav Samman 2025 – Official Nomination Guidelines

📜 Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

   • Any Durga Puja or Kali Puja association/committee worldwide is eligible.

   • Each association may nominate in a maximum of 4 categories combined (Durga + Kali).

2. Nomination Fee

   • ₹10,000 (non-refundable) per association.

   • Includes 5 Gold Passes for Award Ceremony + Bengali Buffet Dinner.

   • Additional passes: ₹1,000 per person (Dinner + Entry).

3. Submission Guidelines​

   • Last date for Nomination with fully paid registration fees : 28th September 2025.

   • Late submissions will not be considered.

4. Supporting documents must be submitted by:
   • 5th October 2025 (Durga Puja)
   • 21st October 2025 (Kali Puja)

5. Judging Process

   • Evaluated by an independent jury on creativity, tradition, innovation, management, and community impact.

   • Jury decisions are final and binding.

6. People’s Choice Award

   • No self-nomination required.

   • A QR code + standee design (6’x3’) will be shared.

   • Committees must print, mount, and display at pandals.

   • Visitors scan to vote → Puja with highest verified votes wins.

7. Awards Delivery

   • Winners must attend the Award Ceremony to receive awards.

   • If unable to attend, Trophy & Certificate will be couriered within India.

8. Award Presenters

   • Each association may nominate 2 outstanding achievers as Award Presenters.

   • Award Presenters cannot collect awards on behalf of the association.

9. Usage of Materials

   • Submitted photos, videos, and content may be used for digital/print/broadcast promotion by organizers.

10. Dress Code

    • Mandatory: Bengali Ethnic Attire (Saree, Kurta-Pajama, Dhoti, etc.).

    • Casual wear not permitted.

11. Organizers’ Rights

• Organizers reserve the right to amend categories, rules, or event schedule if required.

• False information may lead to disqualification.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1. Who can apply?
Any Durga Puja or Kali Puja organizing committee/association worldwide.

Q2. How many categories can we nominate for?
Up to 4 categories combined (Durga + Kali).

Q3. What is the nomination fee?

• Nomination Fee: 

• Gold Package : ₹10,000 (Any 4 Sub Category Nominations + 5 Passes + 2 Presenter Pass + Buffet Dinner). 

• Silver Package : ₹5,000 (Any 2 Sub Category Nominations + 2 Passes + Buffet Dinner).

Q4. Can we buy extra passes?
Yes, ₹1,000 per person (Dinner + Entry).

Q5. What documents do we need to submit?

• PPT with photos/videos + descriptions

• Max 10 photos per category (Day & Night)

• 2–3 min video (MP4) per category

• 3 min live video via Zoom (slot provided)

• One-page Puja brief

Q6. What if we cannot attend the Awards Night?
If you win, Trophy & Certificate will be couriered within India.

Q7. How does the People’s Choice Award work?
QR code + standee design shared. Associations print & display. Visitors scan to vote → highest verified votes win.

Q8. Can Award Presenters collect our award?
No. They are honored separately but cannot collect awards on behalf of the association.

Q9. What is the dress code?
Strictly Bengali Ethnic Wear. No casuals allowed.
