1. What is SHAROD UTSAV SAMMAN ?

Sharod Utsav Samman is prestigious Award Ceremony for Durgapuja Organizers & brainchild of EVENTEX, an event management company based in Bangalore with pan India operations.

Sharod Utsav Samman was born with one overarching thought—to encourage Durga puja committees to excel in the organisation of Pujas, by awarding the best performers. Sharod Utsav Samman is thus a celebration of excellence.

We divide pujas into various categories based on the budget and further award excellence in various subcategories, like Best Pratima, Best Venue, Best Puja Publicity etc. and even for eco-friendly practices.

Our jury comprises of eminent women and men from various walks of life.

We started on a modest scale in Bangalore in 2018, in 2019 Sharod Utsav Samman became the premier award programme in Bangalore, in 2020 Sharod Utsav Samman became Digital Sensation through Virtual Award Ceremony & in 2021 Sharod Utsav Samman widened it's horizon with Pujo Parikrama to cover major Durgapuja @ Kolkata which became super hit & SUS became a Global Award Ceremony Property & received participation from all over India, UK & Ireland.  In 2022, Sharod Utsav Samman has become truely Global Award Ceremony while receiving nominations from 5 Continents - Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America.

This year we intend to raise the bar of Sharod Utsav Samman as 2nd year of Destination Award Ceremony @ Radha Regent Hotel in Bangalore and we offer you a chance to exhibit your excellence on the global stage. The celebration simply getting bigger & better every year. This year we are also introducing BEA AWARDS - Bengali Entrepreneur Award to encourage the Entrepreneurship in Bengali Community.

5. Is there any registration fees ?

Yes - This Fee is only for nomination registration purpose (Non refundable)

A. Baroari Puja / Sarbojonin - (Indian Durgapuja)– Rs.5000/- includes 1 Person Entry

B. Barir Puja – (Indian Durgapuja) - Rs.5000/- includes 1 Person Entry

C. International Durgapuja (Outside India) Rs.5000/- - Winners will receive Digital Certificate only. Physical Trophy & Certificate can be couriered to Indian Address only.

Note: Please buy seperate ticket for Award Ceremony Event for additional people.

 

6. How many maximum sub-categories can be nominated by any Durgapuja ?

Maximum 3 Sub Categories can be nominated by any Durgapuja.

 

7. How to make the payment for Nomination ?

  1. Indian Durgapuja – Payment through – QR Code / G-Pay / Paytm

  2. International Durgapuja Payment through PayPal only

(Payment details are mentioned in the respective online form)

Note: In the Payment description – you need to mention Organizer Name, City & Mobile number* For example – ABC Durgapuja Association, Kolkata, 9742332211

 

8. When to make the payment for nomination / registration ?

Full payment should be done at the time of Form Submission & you need to send the confirmation payment details / screenshot through whatsapp +91-9742332211 or email to anup@eventex.in Last date for registration / Nomination / Payment 

 

9. What winners will receive ?

A. Physical Commemorative Trophy – Indian Winners

(Digital Certificate for International Winners OR Physical Trophy & Award will be sent to Indian Address)

C. Digital Promotions

D. A Special Feature on the Website / Newsletter

E. A Special Feature on Official Facebook Page

F. Get a chance to Exhibit your Excellence on the Global Stage

 

10. Is there any cash reward for the winners ?

No

 

​11. What are the documents to be submitted in support of nomination ?

A.  Live Video Showcase during Durgapuja through ZOOM Video call (Time Slot & Link will be communicated during Durgapuja - Panchomi to Nobomi)

B.  Recorded Video of Durgapuja (Max 2-3 Min for each nominated Sub Category – HD (720P) or Full HD (1080P) Format should be submitted through Google Drive or Email

C.  High Quality Photography – 10 Images for each nominated Sub Category should be submitted through Google Drive or Email

D.  One-page write up about your Durgapuja along with Core Committee members name.

(Organizers have full right to publish any of the above documents, Photo & Video in any format on Digital, Print & Social Media)

 

12. Any members will visit Durgapuja Pandal to check ?

This is optional & at the discretion of Jury Members / Organizers

 

13. How the Award Ceremony will Happen ?

Award ceremony will happen in Bangalore which will be webcasted through Website, Facebook & YouTube. The Technical details will be shared well in advance to all the nominees. 

 

14. When the Winners Name will be Published ?

Winners details will be published on official Website & Facebook page.

 

15. How will I get the Trophy / Award ?

Winner’s Trophy & Certificate will be couriered to your official address after the Award Ceremony

 

16. Important Dates to remember : -

A. Last date for Registration / Nomination - 23rd October 2023

B. Last date for submitting supportive documents (Photo, Video & Write up) - 23rd October 2023

C. Live Durgapuja Darshan through ZOOM video call - Time slot & link will be provided during Durgapuja

D. Award Ceremony Event :  28th October 2023, Radha Regent Hotel, Bangalore

 

17. What are the different packages for attending the event : -

One Person entry & Gala Dinner is complimentary along with each nomination, Additional person Rs.1500/- per Person for Award Ceremony Entry & Gala Dinner. 

All payments to be done through Gpay / PayTM 

18. Terms & Conditions : -

a. Jury Members decision will be the final and shall be accepted by all nominees. Organizers reserves all the rights for Sharod Utsav Samman Award Ceremony & it’s content. Organizer reserves the full right to change / modify the Event Venue, Dates, Time, Contents, Artists, Celebrities, Format etc without any further notice.
